About us

The Knights on Bikes are an international organization consisting of members of the Knights of Columbus who are also motorcycle riders. The Knights on Bikes was formed in the United States in April 2005. The group has expanded since those humble beginnings to Knights joining us from Canada, Mexico, and The Philippines and over 30 states in the United States.

The Knights on Bikes fraternal members (includes all makes, models and sizes of motorcycles) enjoy recreational riding. These members are dedicated to improving the biker’s image, promoting safe motorcycling, and Christian values. Members of KonB proudly wear a vest that clearly promotes the Knights of Columbus organization.

This is a great opportunity to reach out to other catholic gentlemen with a passion for their catholic faith and motorcycling and begin a new journey together, establishing fraternal brotherhood among other Knights locally, regionally, and nationally. If this is what you are missing when you are riding, then you have the found the right organization.

Our group has no dues or bylaws and is a part of the local councils. We operate under the control of our local councils. We do have guidelines that we follow to make sure we are not considered a separate group from our local, diocesan, state, or national Knights of Columbus. Our members must have attained their 1st degree membership of the Knights of Columbus, own a motorcycle or have a motorcycle within 6 months of joining, follow the tenets of the Knights of Columbus. Our ultimate goal is to enjoy motorcycling with fellow Knights who have the same interest, while evangelizing to those in the motorcycle community, with whom we come into contact. We also want to recruit candidates into the Knights of Columbus, who happen to be motorcyclist.
